Mr. Mzuvukile Klaas (Director)
Mzuvukile Klaas did Chemical Engineering from the University of Johannesburg, a certificate in Advanced Project Management Programme from Unisa, he also holds Finance for Non-Financial Managers and New Managers Programme (NMP) from Wits Business School.
He started his career as a Process Controller at SA Mint in Pretoria, moved to Johannesburg to explore another aspect of his trade as a Brewing Technician at SAB. It was during this time that he realized his interests were more on the Business Administration than on Technical aspects.
In order to advance his Business Acumen, He then joined a company Econ Oil & Energy as an Energy Advisor. His responsibilities included Business Development, Technical Support, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Contract Management, Sales and Marketing.
He spear-headed the Logistics division of and through passion and commitment turned that division to become efficient and profitable.
Amongst many, the key achievements included:
- Growing the Econ Logistics fleet from four Tankers to tenfold.
- Managing and operating the 5 years Eskom National Contract for the supply of Fuel Oils valued in the billions of Rands.
- Crafting and implementing of the Enterprise Development strategy which gave birth to various successful Black Owned Logistics based Enterprises.
- Mzuvukile was also appointed as a 16.2 for Econ Oil & Energy in terms of the OSH act. Through his position at Econ Oil & Energy, he has since attended several training courses and conferences that addressed various business issues in the Industry.

Tlou Tona Energy boost its operations by having a hands on Director who has more than nine years of experience in the Energy Industry and Transport Industry and has worked with most of the oil majors in South Africa.
Tlou Tona Energy has supply agreements with Sasol Oil SA, Engen, FFS Refineries and Energy Oil for the supply of Fuels, Gas, Industrial Heating Oils and Lubricants.
